Soccer fans across the globe witnessed Man City's 6-1 thumping of Man Utd. For mine, I was shocked at the massive scorecard, and couldn't beleive Man Utd, arguably one of the biggest sporting clubs in the world had been beaten so easily. In my opinion, this result has been weeks in the making, United's form in recent matches has been less than impressive. They may have won against Norwich and drew against Liverpool but if both teams would have converted the chances they had (which were many more than United ) they to would have beaten them. Plus their champions league form has not been anything to jump up and down about. This may seem harsh, but I beleive the much maligned Jonny Evans clearly does not deserve his place in the team and should be droppped immdeiately. Giggs looks well past his best, however Sir Alex Ferguson has done a fantasic job injecting fresh new talent into the team, which i am sure will be the backbone of Man Utd for eyars to come. Many people beleive its the end of an era of dominance for Utd, however i hardly think so. Everton this weekend will hardly be a walk in the park, however I am tipping Man Utd to bounce back this weekend and show why they are still a Premier League power.
